We are currently recruiting for an inside sales specialist to join our Strategic Programme Team.

This position is full time, 37.5 hours across 5 days per week. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days required in head office and 3 days working from home .

The Internal Sales Specialist will execute campaigns targeting improving patient outcomes through product upgrades and additions. The Internal Sale Specialist will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and deep understanding of ostomy care. This role involves building relationships with end users, providing product information and guiding them through product access.  This role will contribute to top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention levels, and profitability/

The role holder will:
  • Use exceptional telephone skills to gain information and understanding from customers to be able to offer suitable and appropriate products and service solutions
  • Be responsible for nurturing and developing all leads presented to you to ensure the business opportunity is optimized
  • Cultivate and develop initial customer relationships to understand needs
  • Complete monthly outbound call activity goals and agreed upon sales targets / KPI’s and outcomes within schedule
  • Overcome objections of potential conversion/ new sales opportunities providing supplementary literature and material for consumer use where applicable
  • Develop a deep understanding of Hollister Ostomy product and service offering
  • Effectively communicate product features and benefits to end users
  • Use clinical guides and tools where appropriate to support consumers with better solutions for their needs
  • Collaborate with x team to coordinate prescription fulfillment
  • Participate in periodic sales training and development, including product, clinical, marketing programs, customer care, and commercial excellence
  • Work collaboratively with customer services, marketing teams and clinical support team
  • Make CRM amendments to accounts, sample requests, existing data base end users
  • Identify where improvement is needed in sales practices and make suggestions for improvement

Skills required to be successful:

  • SFDC/CRM Experience and desirable but not required
  • Educated to a GCSE standard, equivalent or higher
  • Proven experience working in sales/telesales role preferably in healthcare or medical supplies
  • A track record in meeting targets
  • A strong influencer with first class customer service & communication skills
  • Effective networker with an ability to build relationships both internally and externally across all levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent self-motivational skills - able to work well within in a team but also to be able to work alone
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Desire to make life more dignified and rewarding for end users
  • High level of self-awareness, resilience and ability to be open and candid
  • Collaboration, has the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver project objectives
  • High level of empathy and comfortable speaking and engaging with people over the phone
  • IT skills specifically CRM management, Power Point and Excel
  • Knowledge of ostomy care products and related healthcare regulations is a plus
  • Mentally agile with a capacity for self-learning, self-motivated and resilient
